As a Principal Research Director, Brian focuses on emerging technology and has developed Info-Tech Research Group’s annual Tech Trends report, its flagship publication, since 2020. Brian also provides support with executive leadership strategy and digital strategy. After more than a decade as a technology and science journalist, Brian has his fingers on the pulse of leading-edge trends and organizational best practices toward innovation. Brian holds a certification in Emerging Technologies from ISACA and is a certified foresight practitioner via the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies. He writes columns in Forbes Technology Councils and Spiceworks Insights. 

Prior to joining Info-Tech Research Group, Brian was the Editorial Director at IT World Canada, responsible for the B2B media publisher’s editorial strategy and execution. A leading digital thinker at the firm, Brian led IT World Canada to become an award-winning publisher. 

Brian holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University. He is regularly featured as a technology expert by media including CIO.com, CIO Dive, Techopedia, Chorus Radio, CBC, and elsewhere.

Rob Meikle is the former Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City of Toronto and the City of Brampton where he delivered integrated transformational solutions. He is a strategic business and technology leader who is innovative and results driven with a proven track record delivering award-winning global business and technology solutions in the private, public, and not-for-profit sector. 

Rob became the first and only Canadian municipal CIO to be named on the prestigious Global CIO 100 Award honoree list, receive the Global Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leadership Award, and the National Government (GTEC) Next Generation Leadership Awards. He was twice featured on the cover of the Canadian CIO Magazine. 

He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and holds an Honours BMath in Computer Science & Business Administration. He holds a Masters Certificate – IT Executive Leadership Development from Ryerson University. He is actively involved in his local community and serves on various non-profit and advisory boards.

Glenn is an experienced Chief Information Officer and non-executive director with a demonstrated history working across numerous industries. Skilled in IT Strategy Development and Execution, High-Performing Teams, Project Portfolio Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Business Transformation and Digitisation, and IT/Cybersecurity, Glenn has a strong commercial acumen and is a highly experienced IT professional. 

Glenn joined Info-Tech in 2023 as an Executive Counselor. His motivation for joining Info-Tech is to establish himself as a trusted partner to his clients, leveraging Info-Tech’s intellectual property and quality analysts while complementing these with his own experience and skills. 

Glenn’s experience spans commercial/private and public enterprises across numerous industries including Financial Services, Insurance, Government, Utilities, Manufacturing, Disabilities, Professional Services, Gaming and Hospitality, and Sports Entertainment. 

Glenn has served numerous directorships and currently sits on a NFP board in the Disability sector and loves the opportunity to give back to the community.
