Many P&C insurers still rely on legacy Policy Administration Systems (PAS) that are fragmented, heavily customized, and difficult to scale. These systems were not designed to support modern needs such as real-time data exchange, predictive analytics, or seamless digital customer experiences. As competitive pressure and regulatory complexity increase, insurers recognize the need to modernize but today’s technology landscape adds to the challenge.
For many carriers, the challenge isn’t just choosing a new vendor, it’s deciding how much change is right. Without a clear understanding of internal readiness, long-term goals, and vendor alignment, many insurers make technology choices that do not support their broader transformation strategy.
