Gen AI is an inflection point that has steepened the curve of Exponential IT – what we call today’s unprecedented revolution in IT capabilities – and accelerated the growth of other technologies. IT leaders know it: 57% say AI is likely to disrupt their business in the next 12 months, and 35% say they expect the same from other emerging technologies, according to Info-Tech’s Future of IT 2025 Survey.
As exponential technologies have skyrocketed, so has their potential value – and organizations’ expectations for them. CIOs must lead the transformation required to spur innovation and adapt these burgeoning technologies to their organization’s benefit.
