Program Summary

Leadership has evolved over time.  The velocity of change has increased and leadership for the future looks different than the past.  Designed to help IT Leaders navigate the challenging world of IT talent management, this program provides attendees with foundational leadership frameworks to lead teams through day-to-day issues and strategic planning.

Amanda Mathieson

Research Director

As a Research Director for the CIO Advisory Practice at Info-Tech Research Group, Amanda is responsible for researching people- and leadership-focused trends, developing thought models, and providing resources, tools, and processes to build and drive the success of leaders in a disruptive world.

Amanda joined Info-Tech Research Group in 2019 and brings 20 years of expertise from working in Canada, the US, and globally. Her expertise in leadership development, organisational change management, and performance and talent management comes from her experience in various industries spanning pharmaceutical, retail insurance, and financial services. She takes a practical, experiential approach to people and leadership development that is grounded in adult learning methodologies and leadership theory. She is passionate about identifying and developing potential talent, as well as ensuring the success of leaders as they transition into more senior roles.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Master of Arts in Organisation and Leadership Development from Fielding Graduate University, as well as a post-graduate diploma in Adult Learning Methodologies from St. Francis Xavier University. She also has certifications in Emotional Intelligence – EQ-i 2.0 & 360, Prosci ADKAR® Change Management, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Step I and II.

Annabel Lui

Principal Research Advisor

Annabel Lui is a Principal Research Advisor in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region at Info-Tech Research Group, covering data and analytics, project and portfolio management, and CIO research. Her focus and passion are about bringing purpose, people, and process together to drive better satisfaction for all stakeholders.

Annabel brings 20 years of experience in IT with an accomplished portfolio of enterprise transformation projects. These projects range from implementing a Center of Excellence in APAC for a global organisation, to a predictive service management program using data analytics, to Six Sigma projects driving improvement around business efficiency. Prior to joining Info-Tech, Annabel was the Head of IT at FUJIFILM Upstream Solutions, directly reporting to the CEO. Annabel was responsible for the data governance and management roadmap to drive change in the data culture of the organisation.

Annabel has also worked in the financial and banking, supply chain, and technology provider industries.









 

Tracy-Lynn Reid

Practice Lead

Tracy-Lynn Reid is the Research Lead for the People & Leadership team within the CIO Advisory Practice, covering key topics related to IT staffing within an information technology context. Her consulting experience includes several engagements directly related to supporting corporate IT management teams in operational and strategic HR management. Tracy-Lynn’s expertise covers a breadth of HR topics including strategy development, leadership guidance and development, organisational change management, organisational design, succession planning, employee and labour relations, and all other areas of talent management.

In addition to her consulting experience, Tracy-Lynn holds a post-graduate certificate as well as a Masters degree in Human Resources Management from Humber College and York University respectively. She is also a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) under the Ontario Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).
