Program Overview

This session offers a practical, deep-dive approach to building the governance backbone your organization needs for an AI program that delivers value – and remains future-proof. Participants will work with high-value AI use cases, learn what it takes to get an AI program off the ground, and understand the importance of aligning initiatives with their organization’s risk appetite. The outcome is a structured understanding of how to harvest value from each AI use case using a Proof of Value Framework.

Amalia is an AI Instructor with the Training & Development Products team at Info-Tech Research Group, bringing over three decades of expertise to her role.


Her distinguished career represents a powerful fusion of practical and strategic insights gained through technology consulting, advising and coaching clients, and curriculum development. Her specialized knowledge spans global laws, regulations, compliance frameworks, and standards related to data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.


Amalia’s expertise has benefited numerous Fortune 100 and 500 companies across the top 20 industry sectors. Since 2022, she has worked extensively with clients to assess AI platforms and algorithmic products according to ISO standards and regulatory compliance requirements. These hands-on experiences, complemented by her comprehensive work with IT, privacy, and cybersecurity professionals, have positioned her as a leading authority at the intersection of technology governance, regulations, and innovation.


As an active instructor for the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, Amalia has co-authored various cybersecurity and privacy management courses.
