Brittany Lutes

Research Director

  • Brittany Lutes is a Research Director in the CIO practice, specializing in operating models, organizational design, and IT talent management. She helps organizations strategically align and operationalize IT talent beyond just moving the lines and boxes on an organizational chart – which yields little to no value. Instead, she guides you to build a foundational operating model that defines how your IT and digital strategic objectives can be achieved. Once this is established, the functional organizational structure can easily layer on top, followed by an updated organizational chart. Once satisfied with the right future state of your IT organization, Brittany can support your organization in designing, implementing, and sustaining the necessary changes.

  • Prior to joining Info-Tech Research Group, Brittany earned her Masters of Science in Business and Economics from the University of Guelph and obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology & Psychology from Trent University. The combination of these two degrees allows her to explore the organizational design process from an industrial-organizational psychology perspective. Additionally, she worked for a variety of roles in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including banking, higher education, local government, hospitality, and charitable organizations before finding her passion in research.
