About the Award
The IT Excellence Award recognizes IT leaders who have demonstrated significant advancements in managing their strategic processes, optimizing IT operations, and enhancing business alignment. This award celebrates IT excellence based on Info-Tech’s IT Management & Governance Diagnostic, measuring progress from the first diagnostic assessment to the latest diagnostic. The IT Management & Governance Diagnostic is a survey-based program designed to identify strengths and weaknesses across 50 IT processes and guide improvement in the areas that are most important to you and your organization.

Deadline
The IT Management & Governance Diagnostics must be completed by July 31, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria*
To be eligible for the IT Excellence Award, nominees must:
- Be an Info-Tech Research Group member.
- Complete at least two IT Management & Governance Diagnostics, with the first diagnostic completed no earlier than 2021 and the latest diagnostic completed between September 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025.
- At least three participants from the organization must take part in the diagnostic program.
- No award nomination form is required. IT leaders automatically qualify upon completing at least two IT Management & Governance Diagnostics.

Selection Process
- Info-Tech will review completed IT Management and Governance Diagnostic reports to identify organizations with the highest improvement in the overall effectiveness scores across key governance and management categories.
- Winners will be notified and announced in November 2025.
